Curb appeal

This mothers day I hosted my family at my house in Greenville! What was suppose to be shower mom with love and gifts turned into shower Ashley with love and gifts for my yard!! Lots and lots of flowers, a wicker yard sale find that now is spray painted white with green cushions and fun lighting this was a perfect place to have our cookout. I'm pretty sue this is my new favorite room in the house! More pictures soon!

DIY furniture paint

A gift from a family friend was this cedar dresser! With some white paint inside, two coats blue on outside and new handles = I'm in love!

Yard sale find!

What started out as $40 hidden in the corner was quickly talked down to $20 and stuffed in the honda crv!

Yard sale tips: church yard sales are the BEST to go to.
1) they are huge
2) they are wanting to make as most as possible for missions trips so any price you ask for they are more than likely going to take.
3) because they are trying to raise money people are willing to give all kinds i stuff to help out, so things are in good shape and lots to choose from.
4) most church sales are very organized and have several people willing to help you carry to your car!

My sweet find was quickly turned into a coffee station which sits in the kitchen. I love it and no store bought furniture would have been the same!

Christmas Decorating!

This year, just moved into the new house, it was hard to turn around and start decorating for Christmas when we hardly had our regular things out yet. So wanting to still decorate but not having the funds to do so i ran over to the local habitat resale store. ahem my FAVORITE store! Under ten dollars i got Christmas lights for both inside and outside, mini Christmas tree, and greenery. The ornaments i got the year before after Christmas.. a whole container of them for $1 booyah. All in all i'm thankful for our sweet little Christmas decorations and comes to show a little goes a long way!

While home for thanksgiving Jen and i decided to get crafty with some christmas wreaths! Lots of hot glue, ornaments and vision it turned out great!

DIY Rings!

A little bit of wire and your favorite bead can turn into a super fun ring!

So when i was babysitting...

i took a picture of a picture on their wall! I loved the colors in it and at first look i was like whoa too much, but throughout my time there i grew to love it so much i recreated it. Its hard for me sometimes to really love what i make, i see all the things wrong with it and how i would change it but thankfully my roomie katherine does not care if i like it or not and made a space for it in the dinning room!
